1. Introduction

Welcome to Bench Robotics Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing our website, purchasing our products (including robot kits, components, and educational materials), or using our digital services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access the website or use our products.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase products.

Minors (Under 18): If you are under 18, you may use our products and services only with the involvement and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The account must be registered by the parent/guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms and accepts full responsibility for the minor’s use of our products.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Bench Robotics is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.

“As Is” Policy: Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a specific warranty card, all components and kits are provided “as is” without any guarantees.

Voiding of Warranty: Any limited warranty provided is automatically void if:

• The product is damaged due to user error (e.g., wrong wiring, reverse polarity, physical impact).
• The product is used with non-compatible third-party components (e.g., high-voltage batteries not recommended by us).
• The product is modified beyond the recommended specifications provided in our official tutorials.

Returns: We do not accept returns on open or soldered components.

5. User-Generated Content (UGC) & Community Guidelines

We encourage students to share their creations, code, and robot modifications on our platform.

• Non-Commercial License: You retain ownership of the content you post (e.g., photos of your robot, custom code). However, by posting, you grant Bench Robotics a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and share your content for educational and marketing purposes.
• No Commercial Use: You may not sell, license, or profit commercially from the designs, code, or educational content derived from Bench Robotics kits without our explicit written permission.
• Moderation: We reserve the right to remove any content that is offensive, inappropriate, or violates these Terms. We may ban users who engage in bullying, harassment, or hate speech.

6. Intellectual Property

Our Content: All text, graphics, logos, images, and software on this site are the property of Bench Robotics Private Limited and are protected by Indian and international copyright laws.

Educational License: Our tutorials and courses are for personal, single-user use only. Redistribution, recording, or sharing of our paid course content is strictly prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bench Robotics Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

• Damages to property (e.g., laptops, furniture) caused by a malfunctioning robot.
• Personal injury resulting from the assembly or operation of our products.
• Loss of data or profits arising from the use of our digital platforms.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of, or related to, these Terms or our products shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
