Refund & Return Policy

At Bench Robotics Private Limited, we pride ourselves on the quality of our educational kits. As we sell sensitive electronic components and intellectual property (courses), our policies are strict to prevent misuse. By purchasing from us, you agree to the following terms.

1. General Return Policy

All Sales Are Final.

Due to the nature of electronic components (which can be damaged by static electricity or mishandling) and the immediate access to digital course content, we do not offer returns or exchanges for “change of mind” or “incorrectly ordered” items once the order has been shipped.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Before Shipping: If you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched from our lab, we will issue a refund. However, a Cancellation Fee of 2-3% will be deducted to cover the non-refundable Payment Gateway charges incurred by us.
  • After Shipping: Once the package has been handed over to the courier partner, the order cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded. Refusing to accept the delivery does not qualify you for a refund.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Missing Items (DOA)

We take extreme care in packing. However, in the rare event that an item is missing or arrives damaged, we will replace it free of charge, subject to the following strict conditions:

Mandatory Unboxing Video Requirement

Reporting Window: You must report the issue within 3 days of delivery. Reports made after 3 days will not be accepted.

Strict Proof Required: To claim a replacement for missing or damaged parts, you MUST provide an uncut, continuous unboxing video. The video must clearly show:

  • The shipping label and sealed packaging before opening.
  • The opening of the box and inspection of all contents.

No Video = No Claim. We strictly reject claims without video proof to prevent fraud.

Verification: We will cross-check your video with our internal CCTV footage and weight records. If verified, we will dispatch the replacement part.

4. Digital Products & Courses

Our products are “Hybrid” (Hardware + Software).

  • Any purchase that includes access to digital content (online courses, downloadable code, PDF guides) is Non-Refundable once the digital content has been accessed, logged into, or downloaded.
  • By logging into the learning platform, you acknowledge that the service has been “consumed,” and no refund can be granted.

5. Return Shipping Costs

In the exceptional case that Bench Robotics authorizes a return (solely at our discretion and in good faith):

  • Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for paying the shipping costs to return the item to our Lucknow lab. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Condition: The item must be unused, unsoldered, and in its original sealed packaging.

6. International Orders

Customs & Duties: Import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Refusal to Pay: If you refuse to pay customs duties and the package is returned to us or destroyed by customs, NO REFUND will be issued. The cost of return shipping often exceeds the product value, and we cannot bear this loss.

7. Refunds Processing

  • Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
  • Payment Failures: If an amount was deducted from your account but the order was not placed (transaction failure), the gateway usually auto-refunds it within 5-7 days. In rare manual cases, please allow up to 15 days for resolution.
