ESP32 Type-C Development Board (WiFi + Bluetooth)

The classic ESP32 Development Board has been modernized with a USB Type-C port. This is the ultimate “brain” for your IoT and robotics projects. Unlike the older Arduino Uno, this board features a 32-bit dual-core processor, built-in WiFi, and Bluetooth (BLE), all while being small enough to fit on a breadboard.

Why choose the Type-C Version?

  • Modern Connectivity: The robust USB-C port eliminates the connection wobbles and broken ports common with micro-USB. It is reversible and durable.
  • Dual-Core Powerhouse: One core handles WiFi/Bluetooth communication while the second core runs your code independently. This means your robot won’t freeze when it connects to the internet.
  • Rich Peripherals: Packed with features like Capacitive Touch Sensors, Hall Effect Sensors, SD Card Interface, Ethernet MAC, and high-speed SPI.

Common Applications

  • Home Automation (Smart Switches, Lights)
  • Internet-controlled Robots (using Blynk or Web Server)
  • Wireless Data Logging (Temperature/Humidity sensors)
  • Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Beacons

The Bench Robotics Guarantee

  • Verified Quality: Each unit undergoes a strict visual inspection and quality check in our Lucknow lab before packaging.
  • Fast Dispatch: Orders are packed and dispatched within 12 hours.
  • Bench Support: Verified customers get direct call/chat support for troubleshooting.

Common Questions

Why does my computer not recognize the board?

This is the #1 issue! Please ensure you are using a Data Cable. Many USB-C cables (like phone charger cables) are for “Power Only” and do not transmit data. Also, ensure you have the CP210x or CH340 drivers installed.

How do I fix the “Failed to connect to packet header” error?

This happens when the board doesn’t automatically enter “Boot Mode.” When you see the “Connecting…” dots in Arduino IDE, press and hold the BOOT button on the board for 2 seconds, then release. The upload should start.

Can I use my 5V sensors with this?

Be careful! The ESP32 pins operate at 3.3V. If you connect a 5V sensor (like an Ultrasonic sensor’s Echo pin) directly, you might damage the board. Use a logic level converter or a simple voltage divider circuit.

Does this fit on a standard breadboard?

Yes! This is the 30-pin version. It fits perfectly on a standard breadboard and leaves one row of holes exposed on one side for your jumper wires. (The 38-pin version is too wide for standard breadboards).
