Common Questions

Does this fit the N20 Metal Gear Motors?

No. These wheels have a large rectangular slot specifically for yellow BO motors. N20 motors have a tiny 3mm D-shaped shaft and require specific N20 wheels.

Do I need screws to attach the wheel?

Usually, no. They are designed as a tight “push-fit.” However, there is a small hole on the outside of the hub. If your wheel feels loose over time, you can drive a small self-tapping screw through that hole into the motor shaft to lock it permanently.

Are these suitable for outdoor or off-road robots?

They are acceptable for very light outdoor use (like flat pavement), but they lack deep treads. For dirt, grass, or heavy off-road use, we recommend upgrading to larger “Robot Track” systems or studded off-road tires.

Is the rubber tire removable?

Yes! The black rubber tire is stretched over the yellow plastic rim. You can easily peel it off if you need to clean it or if you want to run the robot on a grooved rail using just the plastic hub.
